The Crowlees Hoppa
The Crowlees Hoppa is a FREE walking bus-style scheme which has been running for more than three years and is available to all parents.
The Hoppa meets at Mirfield Library EVERY MORNING from 8.30am and sets off to school at 8.40am. You can drop your child/ren at the Hoppa every day either by walking to the Library or parking in the Co-Operative car park. Each parent helps one day a week on a rota.
The Hoppa is supported by Kirklees Council and meets their requirements in terms of adult to child ratios and all parent helpers need to be DBS-checked.
If you would be interested in joining the Hoppa, speak to the school office and complete a registration form.
The Hoppa is run by parent Dianne Watkinson who you can contact on 07955 360071 or via crowleeshoppa@hotmail.com
Thank you for helping us help more children walk to school, keeping them fit, helping their road awareness and reducing traffic congestion around school.
